Top Five Video Game Franchises


       5.Knights of the Old Republic

Yeah I know.  Not an established series, takes a while to get into, blah blah blah I don’t care.  Very few games I play make me want to replay them.  Very in depth story, better than the original star wars saga (star dorks respond, hate I don’t care we all know those movies suck compared to this game).  From Revan to Malak to Exile I care about these characters.   Excited about mmorg

   

      4.  Dragon Warrior

Descendant of Erdrick.  Great story( through out the series), you can gamble (Nuss loves that) 9 sequels, spawned a side series.  Enjoy.

 

3.      Final Fantasy

Set the standard for  RPGs.  In 1997 a game known only as ff7 debuted.  It rocked the world.  You cared about the characters, felt, bled for them. Story became important, Aeris died you felt sad.  Games that make you think, important.

 

2.      Zelda

The theme is playing through your head.  Don’t lie.  Who doesn’t want to rescue the princess.  Good fun, great items (boomerang), triforce.  Wish I was a kid  again.

 

1.      Mario Bros.

Any doubt? The only game I can tell a story for every single game.  From Nintendo to wii.  Mario one Christmas, Mario two bastard ass game, Mario three went to Disney spent no money so I could  buy.   Mario world still play to this day..  The series is a classic.  You can sit back enjoy play by yourself or your girlfriend wants to play too.  I can remember playing Mario kart wii and getting that phone call.  Seriously would you have ever begun playing videogames without this series?

   

Runner ups:  God of War, great series just not long enough, love blood and violence

 

Rock Band:  want to see where it goes, good foundation

 

Mega Man:   Good game love characters, story changes game to game
